Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses transformasi esai akademik ke media infografis serta menganalisis kontribusinya terhadap penguatan literasi digital mahasiswa PPG Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan fokus pada analisis proses dan produk. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 11 mahasiswa yang mengerjakan tugas esai akademik dan mentransformasikannya menjadi infografis melalui pemanfaatan Google NotebookLM. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi dan observasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan model interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses transformasi esai ke infografis melibatkan kemampuan kognitif tingkat tinggi, seperti memahami, merangkum, dan mengorganisasi informasi ke dalam bentuk visual. Kualitas esai akademik berpengaruh terhadap kualitas infografis yang dihasilkan, terutama dalam hal kesesuaian isi dan struktur informasi. Selain itu, pemanfaatan teknologi berbasis kecerdasan buatan berperan sebagai fasilitator dalam proses pengolahan informasi, meskipun efektivitasnya tetap bergantung pada kemampuan konseptual mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa transformasi esai ke media infografis merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mengembangkan literasi digital, khususnya dalam aspek pengolahan dan produksi informasi secara multimodal.
